POKER RUN DETAILS:
Begins 10/17/20 at 9AM at Hudson Speedway and ends at 11AM at Hudson Speedway (2 of the 5 stopping points)
You must visit each of the 3 additional stopping points along the route (in any order) between 9AM and 11AM. The 3 additional stopping points will be announced soon.
When you start the Poker Run at 9AM at Hudson Speedway, you will also receive a wrist band that gets you into the "Season Closer" car show at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
HOW THE POKER RUN WORKS
The Poker Run route is pictured below
You can register as many people in your vehicle as you like, so your passenger can also play! Each player needs to be registered.
You will draw a playing card at each of the 5 stops and your draw will be recorded at each stop
You must visit ALL stops and return to Hudson Speedway by 11AM. Those not returning by 11AM will be disqualified.
At the conclusion of the Run, all player "poker hands" will be calculated to determine the best hand. The person with the best poker hand WINS the $500!
We will announce the winner at Noon.
In the unlikely event of a tie, we will draw a 5-hand tiebreaker between the tied participants at Hudson Speedway at 11AM.
POKER RUN ROUTE:
We have a great route planned: nice back roads, no highway and some great foliage views! There will be 5 stops evenly spaced over the 30-mile, 1-hour Route:
- Hudson Speedway (start and end)
- Londonderry Middle School
- Rail Trail Parking Lot (106 Harvey Rd, Manchester)
- Griffin Memorial School (Litchfield)
If not doing the Poker Run, please arrive at Hudson Speedway at 11AM. After parking, please proceed to the NH Muscle Cars booth to retrieve your show car windshield placard. We are reducing the car show cost to $10 per car for members, when you show your club card!!! Non-members entrance is $15. Spectators are FREE. It will help us GREATLY upon entrance if you have correct change handy. Trophy categories will be announced prior to the show. The trophy presentation starts at 2:30.

Rolling Thunder on Track Rolling Car Show and "Laps for Matty"
We are VERY EXCITED to announce that we will have a mid-show "Rolling Car Show." Car show participants will get 2 laps around Hudson Speedway at pace lap speeds! This will be run single file in groups of five cars at a time and you will return to your prior parking spot. The speedway has beautiful aluminum grand stands and a viewing/photo deck that overlooks the track along the entire front straightaway. Spectators can remain in the infield or head to the stands for viewing and photos.
It's time for us to come together as a club and help a member family. We have a very special fundraiser Sunday, for a young man and his family that are dealing with Matty's extreme health challenges. Matty is a 16 old intelligent, funny, and strong kid battling Cystic Fibrosis and Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Matty has been in and out of the hospital for a few years now. Antibiotics and steroids are no longer working, so Matty has made the choice to be placed on hospice and he will stay home with his family for the remainder of his time. You may know his Mom (Jennifer Garrett) and Dad (Scott Garrett) as they are members with their green c10 pickup.
To raise funds for Matty and his family, we will be recommending a $10 donation ($5 per lap) from the cars doing the "rolling thunder" on-track laps. Jed Greeke made us aware of this difficult situation and he will be standing with a donation bucket as cars pull onto the track, for those that would like to make a donation. We'll also do a Facebook "go live" video so Matty can watch from home.
The speedway will be providing food, beverage and desserts for purchase from their very accessible food trailers.
The speedway has both permanent and portable bathroom facilities onsite.
Commercial vendors can register for space here: https://www.nhmusclecars.com/vendor-registration
Right before the conclusion of the event, we will line up the trophy winner's on the track for a "Winner's Parade" featuring the trophy winners for 2 laps around the track!

What a great night at New England Dragway! Our Show-N-Go event received rave reviews from our members. We cruised from the North Salem Village to NED, had a car show at the track, drag raced, and raised $533 plus pet food/supplies for the Animal Rescue League of NH! We had over 150 muscle cars with 28 member cars participating in the bracket racing. We had over 350 people participate in this event. Thanks to everyone that participated, donated to the ARLNH and made this event a huge success!
